SSG William A. Pribila
Hometown: Avenel, NJ.
Age: 30 years old.
​Died: June 5, 2019.
Unit: ​US Army, Fort Bliss, Texas.

Staff Sergeant William A. Pribila, United States Army, stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. He was 30 years old.

Born in Edison, he resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township before enlisting in the United States Army 9 years ago. While in the United States Army he was deployed overseas, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Syria. He was a graduate of Colonia High School, class of 2006.

​Staff Sergeant Pribila was predeceased by his grandparents; and cousin, Christopher Brown. Surviving are his wife, Susan Benites Pribila; children, Joel and Aviana; parents, Angelo and Laura Ortiz Pribila; sisters, Michele Pribila-Bisset and her husband, Randal, of Woodbridge, Kelly Preziosa and her husband, Patrick, of Sayreville and Jennifer Bennett of Spring Lake Heights; nieces, Jordyn and Sierra; nephews, Jarryd and Justyn; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel.

Interment: Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, New Jersey.
