2023 Hero Markers

What is a Hero Marker? 
Each mile of the Run is dedicated to one of our NJ Fallen and the endpoint of that mile is marked by a distinctive Hero Marker which is placed in a prominent position and the Hero Marker # is also painted on the road thus acting as the "gathering point" for that Hero's Family, Friends and comrades. 

​Our Run Team will stop and make a presentation at every Hero Marker throughout the the Run.   Full details, listings and maps will be published here....

To find your HM (Hero Marker) # and the location/Day and Estimated Time...

• ​Scroll down this page and you will find listings sorted  in several different ways including numerically by Day and alphabetically by Day.   Please note that these listings are downloadable...
• IMPORTANT - Everyone should check the actual location and Day of their Hero Marker as some have had to be changed - please check on the listing below and also on the Route/Map Pages.
• The estimated time that is shown is obviously dependent on weather/traffic/road conditions etc. and thus we do ​strongly advise that everyone should plan on arriving at the HM at least 45 minutes prior to the time shown.​
• ​Please note that we will be posting live updates on our Facebook page throughout each day showing the actual times that we are arriving at each HM - www.facebook.com/NJRFTF .
