After graduating in June 2005 from Hammonton High School in Hammonton, New Jersey, he decided to work a little and relax for six months before deciding what he wanted to do. His desire to do something good with his life is what motivated him to join the Marines in January 2006. While Jon was in Iraq, he would write his family to send candy and potato chips, which he shared with other Marines and Iraqi children. He was due to return home in November and wanted to join the police force in Atco, the section of Waterford Township, after the Marines. Jon loved football and kept up with the Philadelphia Eagles. He also liked playing video games and paintball. Burial: Atco Cemetery Atco Camden County New Jersey, USA |
