Hometown: Camden, New Jersey, U.S. Age: 19 years old Died: November 29, 2001 in Operation Enduring Freedom. Unit: Army, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y. Birth: Sep. 25, 1982, Camden Camden County, New Jersey, USA Army Pvt Maria died from a gunshot wound which is under investigation. He was guarding a US Army outpost in Uzbekistan, Gio wrote that he would like to be a Green Beret. But he also wrote that he would give anything to come home, unless he got to see some action and shoot some Taliban.
